Q: On the old Scary Entertainment message boards you talked about
doing a Janus movie. Is that ever going to happen?

A:
I hope so, someday. I've kept the movie in mind as I've written the script
for the comic. It will be a quick and painless process to adapt it to film.
Actually filming it, however, will be neither quick nor painless. This would not
be a low budget venture, and I wouldn't even consider trying it without a very
large budget. I do intend on introducing the character in some short films
and animations. Keep in mind Janus is not Superman, and these are not
family-friendly tales. Without the youth market, this has not been easy to find
support for. Besides that, a lack of dedicated artists has really held back
progress...by at least a year.

Q: Who is The Green Buddha?

A:
Besides being Janus the Jester's rival-turned-sidekick, the Green
Buddha is a real-life character as well. First, I'll explain the name. There was
(as usual) a large group of us playing video games, running about, and
making quite a bit of noise, and I was (as usual) laid-back on the couch
observing. I noticed him sitting in the middle of my living room floor, in a
very "meditative" looking position, wearing a plain green t-shirt, and I said
"you look like a big green Buddha." At the moment, that was the funniest
thing any of us had ever heard, thus the name stuck. Buddha is an artist and
long-time friend of mine, who will be joining us here as soon as he puts down
the pipe and gets the Internet (I'm kidding). He will be getting his own
department here at Scary Entertainment as soon as he figures out what to
do with it (I'm not kidding about that). He's also doing some of the Janus art
and working on a couple of films with me.

Q: How do I get my band on your website?

A:
Make me aware of your existence and don't suck. No, it's really that
simple. Sometimes, I'll even contact you first, but if you email me and give
me a link to your site, I'll check you out. If you don't have a website, give me
some way to hear your music. I'll even go out to your shows, if possible.

Q: When will there be more stuff in the Playground?

A:
There will be more games next month. There will be mp3's and other
downloads added over the next two months, beginning next week. There will
be alot more content whenever artists take more interest in allowing you to
have free access to their material.
